The Problem is that DVD 1&3 don’t work. I already had the same problems with season 6, so it’s not just a single failure of one set. I get the image that Buena Vista doesn’t really care any more about the quality of the sets. You recognize that because of the minor package quality of that set in comparison to the quality of earlier seasons.

It’s sad cause the show is still the most hilarious show ever produced. Well, but it’s just not entertaining if can’t watch it! :-(

The Tim Allen series “Home Improvement” was one of the longest running half-hour television series during the 90’s on ABC. Buena Vista Home Entertainment has released “Home Improvement-The Complete Seventh Series” on DVD. The three disc DVD includes all 25 episodes from the shows 7th season.

Fans of the show will recall that Tim Allen starred in the series as the host of his own television series named “Tool Time.” In addition to a busy and laughter filled career, he also raised his family with his wife who was portrayed by actress Patricia Richardson. There are plenty of funny episodes during the shows 7th season, but fans of the series’ may mark their rememberance of this season with the fact that this was the season that Tim considered leaving “Tool Time” for good. Guest stars include Grant Hill and Dan Akroyd. Bonus features include Season 7 Bloopers.

This is Tim “The Toolman” Taylor, version 7.0, or at least the Complete Seventh Season. Good wholesome American humor. The Taylor clan (read:cast) are legitimately funny. Definition of Family Entertainment: Home Improvement, the television series!

Home Improvement, by far, has to be one of my all time favorite TV shows. Tim Allen had a good thing with the show. I wish he would have done another season or two instead of moving on to some of the worthless movies that he did (i.e Shaggy Dog).

However, the show was concluded very nicely which this set obviously includes. If you were a fan of the show, this is a must have. The shows are in their full length, uncut versions instead of the trimed down version that you see in syndication.

I have to say one of my favorite aspects of season seven was the departure of that annoying brat, Jonathon Taylor Thomas. His ultra-liberal ways and stupid comments were really beginning to get on my nerves. Even Tim Allen has admitted that he wanted him off the set. Good riddance to JTT.

I would have liked to see Tim finally win the Christmas contest in the last season…..
